DouxMatok is a global food-tech company, pioneering Efficient Delivery of Flavors, such as sugar , enabling tastier and healthier consumption of foods.

There is a global consensus that over consumption of sugar is contributing considerably to obesity and diabetes. 200 years ago, the average American consumed only 2 pounds of sugar a year. In the 1970s, the average American consumption increased to 123 pounds of sugar a year. Today, the average American consumes almost 152 pounds of sugar a year. This is equal to 3 pounds (6 cups) of sugar consumed in one week! 
Our first product is Incredo® Sugar, a solution for sugar reduction made from real cane or beet sugar. With 24 granted patents, Incredo® improves the efficiency of sugar delivery to the sweet taste receptors and enhances the perception of sweetness, enabling substantial sugar reduction without compromising taste, mouthfeel, or texture. Independent consumer tests and expert sensory panel tests have confirmed that, when using Incredo, it is possible to reduce 30%-50% of the sugar content in a wide range of food products while retaining consumer preferences. 

Incredo® Sugar is the anchor for broader, innovative formulation capabilities that provide great tasting more holistic and healthier food products. Our know-how includes an array of bulking solutions including plant-based proteins and fibers to improve and optimize the nutritional profile of popular food products, addressing key consumer needs and preferences. 


DouxMatok has successfully scaled up in partnership with Lantic Sugars, Canada's largest sugar refiner and is now commercially available.

We are working closely with Food brands-CPGs, Bakers, Chocolatiers and Food Service providers to integrate our solutions into their core products delivering better food experiences to  consumers.


Our products are compliant with the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) and with EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and are now commercially available.


DouxMatok Ltd was established in 2014, with its R&D center and offices based in Israel. The company is led by a team of multi-disciplinary experts in material sciences, food-tech, bio-tech, applied chemistry, engineering and culinary arts - all have successfully led ventures from seed to full scale commercialization.
